Health & Wellness Coaching

Our NexGen Rehab and Wellness Health & Wellness Coaching services assist our client’s by developing individualized strategies toward not only achieving their health & wellness goals but many additional goals.  We walk with our clients through a process that examines all the dimension of their life and look at how they impact their current health.

Parental responsibilities, work pressures, financial strains, poor nutrition & fitness, and many overall lifestyles, often effect our health and wellbeing.  It is well known that stress causes many illnesses and can result in a life that many times feels spun out of control and off balance leading to physical, emotional and mental disorders.  This is where Health & Wellness Coaching can help to assist you in first assessing the dimensions of your life, helping you determine and envision your goals and help you in creating a plan to get you back in control of your life and health.

We do this by working with you to examine the dimensions of your quality of life; physical, mental, emotional and spiritual functioning and helping you gain ownership of your wellbeing. The dimensions of your life are all interconnected.  An improvement in one has a domino effect in another.  A balanced person creates a balanced life. A balanced life promotes quality of living.

NexGen Rehab and Wellness uses a systematic process of helping you take a look at your life and rate your life satisfaction in categories, such as, nutrition, quality of sleep, career, money, work/life balance, relationships, health, personal time or self-care, rest and relaxation to name a few. 

This then allows you to see a picture of where you are at.  Coaches, then, help you to dig in and envision your goals of where you want to be whether it’s being able to hike, run, play with the grandkids or return to a better overall state of health or recovery from an injury.  Together, you and your Coach formulate a plan towards getting there. Step by step, Coaches, support you on the journey and through the roadblocks to health & wellbeing, and a life you are in control of and not in control of you. 

What Should I Expect?

Prior to the initial Coaching session, you will be emailed a comprehensive questionnaire so your Coach can learn more about you, including any medical issues or limitations. The initial discovery coaching session is about 60 minutes, and this is where your Coach and you begin to look at specific different dimensions of your life and discuss your current state of health & wellness and life balance.  From this discovery session, you will begin to gain a helicopter view of your life and the distinct areas that may be impeding your present life satisfaction, health & wellbeing. It is an eye opener for many. Once you see where you are currently, you can then envision where you would like to be and the kind of life and health you would hope to create.

The next sessions can range from 30-60-minute sessions, and this is when your coach and you, create your roadmap to get from where you are to where you would like to be. Once this is completed you and your coach are off and running toward a more satisfying life and improved health & wellness. It is a step by step, goal by goal, walk with your Personal Coach by your side, nudging your forward, holding you accountable and overcoming obstacles together, toward a healthier improved you.
